Während so manch einer es genoss, sich an diesem Sonntagmorgen noch einmal gemütlich im Bett umzudrehen und ausschlafen zu können, machten sich 23 Aktive des TuS Derschlag schon morgens um 7.30 Uhr auf den Weg in den Nachbarschwimmbezirk Süd-Westfalen und zwar ins Freibad Olpe. Bei Regenwetter gingen dann die ersten der 1383 Starts über die Bühne. Die Mannschaft des TuS Derschlag musste sich der Konkurrenz von weiteren 19 teilnehmenden Vereinen
stellen. Teilweise gingen die Aktiven bis zu 5-mal an den Start. Geschwommen wurden die 50 m-, 100 m- und 200 m-Strecken. Mit 9 mal Gold, 11 mal Silber und 10 mal Bronze in der Einzelwertung kehrten die
Derschlager dann heim nach Oberberg. Diese tollen Einzelergebnisse führten aber letztlich zu dem hervorragenden Mannschaftserfolg: denn am ende der 8-stündigen Mammutveranstaltung stand fest, dass sich die Derschlager
von den 20 teilnehmenden Vereinen den 3. Platz erkämpft hatten und vom Veranstalter für diese Leistung mit einem Pokal geehrt wurden. Einzelergebnisse: Allegra Prädel (93) 50 m Brust Platz 13
